City's electricity prepayment vending system temporarily unavailable

The City of Cape Town’s electricity prepayment vending system will be offline overnight on Monday 20 January 2020 until the early hours of Tuesday 21 January 2020 for necessary maintenance work.

The City would like to inform residents that its electricity prepayment vending system will be offline from 22:00 on Monday 20 January 2020 until 04:00 on Tuesday 21 January 2020 for planned maintenance.
 
‘City of Cape Town prepaid electricity customers will not be able to purchase electricity during this time. Please ensure that you have sufficient units in your meter prior to this period.
 
‘The City apologises for any inconvenience caused and thanks residents for their cooperation and understanding during this period,’ said the City’s Mayoral Committee Member for Energy and Climate Change, Councillor Phindile Maxiti.
